I'm sitting on 87 AMC 3 c-band using my USB DVB and DVBworld software. I've been able to find the NASA HD feeds, but the software is finding them on vertical polarity when Lyngsat shows them as being on horizontal.
When I add the transponder manually and select horizontal..no signal. As soon as I switch to vertical I have signal.
How can this be? I do get picture on the supposed wrong polarity though.
what brand is your LNB?
I've got an Inverto Circular Single LNB where both polarities are opposed.
Actually, left-circular needs 14V and right-circular needs 18V. But the Inverto wants 14V for right-circular and 18V for left-circular. Since I knew that, I've received a lot more transponders on Eutelsat W4 at 36°east
